Kpr Etfo Collective Agreement

“We are very pleased to have reached an agreement that meets the needs of both parties and reflects the contributions of our excellent teachers,” said Diane Lloyd, Chair of the Board of Directors. “This agreement was achieved through cooperation, mutual respect and a common commitment to support the interests of students. Our collaborative work continues as we prepare for the safe return of students and staff to our schools. The panel`s approximately 1,400 teachers in the panel`s contract primary education have been without a collective agreement since September 2019. “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with KPRDSB, which fairly represents teachers and the board of directors,” said local teacher Shirley Bell. “We are grateful for our relationship with the Board of Directors, which allowed us to negotiate fairly and respectfully. An agreement means that together we can focus our energy on the safety of our educators and students if we plan for an unprecedented start to the school year. The Kawartha Pine Ridge District District Board and the Ontario Elementary Teachers` Federation – Kawartha Pine Ridge Local are pleased to announce that they have ratified a new collective agreement for contract teachers, which ended September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022.
