I’m thrilled to share that I’ve officially taken home the award for Best Electronic Artist at the 10th Annual Fraser Valley Music Awards!
After being nominated alongside an amazing group of talented artists, I’m honoured to be recognized by CIVL 101.7 FM and the Fraser Valley music community. This award reflects a full year of creative output and artistic momentum, not just a single project.
While one track from my latest album Groove Echoes was included in the submission, the judges also heard selections from my drum and bass album Back at It as well as a handful of other original productions released over the past year.
As many know, I’ve been producing under the moniker elx, while performing live and DJing as elixir—a name that continues to evolve with my work. The new visual identity I’ve adopted reflects that fusion: the letters e, l, x are filled in bold, while i, i, r remain outlined—symbolizing the bridge between my studio productions and live presence.
Massive thanks to everyone who voted, shared the music, and supported me throughout the journey. And to CIVL Radio and the FVMA crew—thank you for amplifying regional talent and helping shine a light on the work we’re all creating out here.
