Hey everyone, Jory here (elx / DJ Elixir). I’ve been workin hard in the studio putting every umph of energy into this album, and I’m beyond excited to finally have it ready for you.

Before Insert Coin; Bass hits Spotify, Apple Music, and the rest of the platforms in a few weeks, I wanted to release it early on Bandcamp as a special early drop. We all know streaming services are convenient, but the reality for independent producers is that those platforms pay fractions of a penny per stream. Bandcamp is completely different; it connects us directly. Getting the record here isn’t just about hearing it first; it directly fuels my studio, helps fund the next wave of gear, and keeps independent music thriving. Every single purchase means the absolute world to me.

This album is a full-spectrum love letter to electronic music and arcade nostalgia. The 14 tracks are built like one continuous late-night journey. We kick off with heavy trap bass and vintage soul on What’s in the Bag, wash over the soul with liquid DnB and distorted guitars on The Way it Feels, and jump straight into 80s arcade breaks on Player Number 1.

From there, the trip gets wilder: raw pre-smartphone 90s warehouse rave synths on Thump da house, peak-hour church bells and trance choir swells on En Trance, and UK garage breaks that break down into chaotic German techno on Head Voice. By the time old-school house pianos and trap rhythms collide on the finale, Dat Yo, the whole dancefloor is unified.
